"I am so excited about the Sea Pearls. I have been uncomfortable about wearing tampons for years because they are so unnatural. After having two children, I just don't find tampons comfortable anymore. My first month with the Sea Sponges was wonderful. I felt so good about wearing them and they stayed in place perfectly and were so comfortable! It was impressive how easily they cleaned up. I have a heavy flow and I always wear a pad as backup. The Sponges worked better for me than tampons. My period always lasts for 7 days and that can put a real damper on a woman's sex life. I tried the sponge out for that too, after my flowed slowed up a bit. It was comfortable and clean. My 12 year old has been menstruating since she was ten years old and I have never encouraged her to try tampons. "I just wanted to write to tell you of my extreme satisfaction with your Sea Pearl Sea Sponge Tampons. I am nursing my first child and the low estrogen levels due to breastfeeding have caused decreased lubrication and thin vaginal walls. Hi. I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for the fast shipping! I just got my sea pearls yesterday, and wouldn't you know it, my period started this morning, LOL! I couldn't wait to try them out. So far so good. They are amazingly comfortable. I previously used the type of tampon without an applicator, so inserting the sea pearls are really not much different technique-wise, but they are way more comfortable to insert! The sponges are so soft and flexible! My flow is normally pretty heavy for the first day or so, and so far the sponge is doing just fine, no leaks! And much less cramping! That is amazing. I've used the Diva cup and the Keeper in the past before as well, and while I feel the cup is a wonderful product, so far I think I much prefer the softness of the sponges. It was sometimes a hassle to get the cup at just the right placement so that it wouldn't leak or sit uncomfortably. Thank you for such a wonderful alternative. I'll definitely be introducing my daughter to these when she comes of age. - Chris K.
