How do I use the KONJACU Sponge?
- Since it is made with 100% natural vegetable fiber, you can use it for baby wash, facial wash, or bath wash.
Is the KONJACU Sponge good for my skin type?
- We recommend the Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Sponge for more acne-prone skin type and people with more oily skin. While the original white konjac sponge for more sensitive skin or atopic (hypersensitive) skin.
- It is also great for baby bath sponge, which will reduce the need for you to use baby soap/detergent which may irritate their sensitive skin.
How do I use the KONJACU Sponge?
- It’s made from 100% natural vegetable fiber, that’s why it needs to be soaked in water before using.
- Before use, gently soak it in water briefly until the sponge becomes damp and soft. DO NOT USE WHEN IT IS STILL HARD!
- Be sure to soak plenty of water in the sponge then gently work the sponge over the skin area.
- Gently run the water-soaked sponge over your skin. You don’t need to scrub too hard, the sponge’s natural PH balancing ingredient will cleanse dirt/oil from your skin.
Can I use soap with the KONJACU Sponge?
- Wet sponge and apply favorite cleanser then gently squeeze to create lather. Massage gently in a circular motion to skin. For sensitive skin, simply use water and massage gently. The KONJACU Sponge is a natural pH balancer and cleaner, so soap is optional.
How frequent should I use the KONJACU Sponge?
- We recommend 1-2 times daily.
Should I dry the KONJACU Sponge after use?
- Yes, absolutely. The KONJACU Sponge is 100% natural with no preservatives & no additives so it is important that you properly clean & press out excess water from the sponge after using and keep it dry in a well-ventilated area or it may become moldy. Do not twist or squeeze the sponge too hard, it may damage the sponge. We recommend that you keep the sponge refrigerated if it is not used for a long period of time.
How do I dry the KONJACU Sponge?
- This is 100% natural, so we highly recommend that you thoroughly rinse the sponge after usage several times until the sponge is clean. Then hang it in a cool, well-ventilated place to air dry properly. SPONGE WILL BECOME HARD WHEN DRY.
How long will the KONJACU Sponge last?
- For the best results, replace every 1-2 months.
Can I eat the KONJACU Sponge?
- No. Even though it’s made of 100% natural vegetable ingredient, it is still for “external/topical” use only. DO NOT EAT!

- Yes. When you shave, you are basically shaving off a layer of your skin, therefore causing irritations and rashes. Our sponge will help reduce the irritation by moisturizing the skin.
