Body Butter Uses
Shea nut butter can be used as an after shower moisturizer all over the body. Heals dry, cracking skin and leaves skin soft and supple.
A pea size drop can be applied to hair as a styling agent or apply more for a deep leave in treatment for dry and damaged hair.
Shea nut butter is a wonderful massage lubricant as it works deep into the tissue to repair skin damaged from dryness, cuts, old scars and over-exposure due to outdoor elements.
It is also used as a personal lubricant. We recommend using Unscented for this application as certain essential oils in our flavored butters may cause irritation to the vaginal tissue. Use your own discretion.

Shea Nut Butter Story
The Shea tree grows wild in the West African savanna
area such as Ghana, Burkina Fasso, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Uganda and Mali. The tree
can grow up to 20-25 meters (average 60 feet) and have a deep root system as
large as their growth (60 feet). This enables the Shea Nut tree to withstand
long periods of drought. The first fruit is produced after 8-12 years and the
maximum yield is attained when the tree is 40 years old. The tree can bear fruit
for up to 160 years. Each tree provides around 50 KG (over 100 lbs) of fruit
annually. The fruits are harvested by natives (local village women) from May to
August. Shea trees are an important resource for West Africa. The local people
have used Shea Nut Butter for hundreds of years as cooking fat, for medical
purposes, cosmetics and protection against sun and inclement weather. Shea Nut
Butter contains healthy amounts of Vitamin A and D. Shea
Nut Butter has been recognized for its intrinsic properties for beauty care.
