Maxim Natural Ultra Thin Contoured Pantiliners are 100% Natural Cotton, Biodegradable, Unscented, and Hypoallergenic. They are free of Cellulose fluff pulp, Dioxin, chlorine, plastics, viscose/rayon, perfume, and any other chemical.
Unlike other brands, the cover sheet (the part of the pad in direct contact with the body) is 100% cotton. Other brands use Nonwoven cover sheet which is a petrochemical byproduct. Maxim pads are also the the only brand with Cellulose Fluff Pulp Free sanitary pads. They use natural cotton as an absorbent core filler instead of cellulose fluff pulp in order to help prevent the abuse and destruction of our natural forests to obtain cellulose pulp.
The natural cotton is whitened and disinfected with Hydrogen Peroxide instead of Chlorine to avoid creating harmful chemical Dioxin residues. These pads are also free of any irritating materials like Petrochemical byproducts, Viscose/Rayon, Plastics, or Perfume found in other conventional products.Additional product features include a smooth cotton surface for added comfort, strong adhesive to prevent pads from shifting, natural breathable layers admitting air flow to the skin for added dryness.
